Austin Fair is a workhorse. His undying supply of passion and wholeheartedly inspiring hunger towards making it in rap never goes unnoticed on our pages, and today, he’s back yet again with a brand new mixtape alongside producer Hetriks entitled 413. But it doesn’t feel like enough to simply say that this is Austin Fair’s return to Graduation Music – he’s back, but he isn’t the same as he used to be. This time around, Fair is brought forth with a vengeance, even coming with an improved artistry and clear ambition that he communicates throughout the tape. If there’s any collection of music that shows just how dedicated Austin Fair is to his art, it has to be 413.
That being said, the collaborative effort between the young talent and producer Hetriks on this one contributes greatly to the identity of the tape. The two find an emphatic degree of chemistry in which they operate and grow within, and by taking a few risks while maintaining the reputation and threshold of quality that Fair has become known and loved for, they join forces in the most impressive, productive ways possible. Each new song fits perfectly within the sonic sweet spots that the Chicopee representative has discovered, marking 413 as an undeniably consistent mixtape to kick the summer off with.
