4oTo Roles – “Too Clean” ft. Tony Bodega [Shot By Calvin Deal]

By: Seamus Fay

Both Tony Bodega and producer 4oTo Roles are frequent flyers here on the Graduation Music website, and quite honestly, it has been incredible to see their collective growth as artists since we first started covering their work. One song at a time, artistry has been refined, lyrics and flows tightened up in Bodega’s case, and as for 4oTo Roles, his beats are only getting better and better with each placement. That said, in a joining of forces that we all needed to hear, 4oTo and Bodega offer us a brand new song and visual offering entitled “Too Clean”.

Shot by Kevin Deal, this music video is the perfect companion for such a smooth song. It captures the feel and sound of “Too Clean” without losing any of its hard-hitting energy in translation, and as a result, viewers receive ample reason as to why they need to get hip to the talents of the two Boston artists as soon as possible. They’re both on their way towards big things, with this music video acting as yet another point of reference on the journey toward the top. So don’t sleep.

Plad Fine$$e – “Yellow Flame” [Music Video]

By: Seamus Fay

Take “Grab It”, “Cheese”, or any other track by Plad Fine$$e and it is immediately explained to you why he is considered one of Boston’s most promising young talents. Better yet, take his latest Calvin Deal-directed visuals for “Yellow Flame”. Equipped with a charismatic energy and tightly-wound flows, this track impressed us when it was first released, but now receiving its well-deserved visual companion, “Yellow Flame” is taken to another level that will undoubtedly ramp up the anticipation for the rising artist’s self-titled debut on the way.

This LoLoTheGod-produced track acts as a testament to the unforgiving barrage of bars that Plad Fine$$e is capable of delivering at any moment, and by pairing its instinctive patterns with dark imagery and scenes of the young talent rapping alongside his team, fans are able to better see the creative vision at hand. In other words, Plad isn’t messing around, and rightfully so, his video releases have done his work ethic justice and definitely helped to garner quite a bit of attention nationally. When talking about who is putting on for Boston right now, this up-and-coming star simply cannot be left out of the conversation. Get hip by clicking play on “Yellow Flame” below.
