This may be the first time we are covering Connecticut’s own Lonny X for our site, but trust me when I say that this isn’t the first time we’ve heard the name of the rising star. His consistent output of incredible material has been nothing less than inspiring to watch, and after the recent release of the hard-hitting DOWNTIME EP (click here to listen), I don’t think Lonny’s rise to the top is stopping anytime soon.
Just yesterday, the Connecticut artist took to Twitter to preview a new collaboration with Gravez Music titled “Believe It”. Set for release on December 8th, I hold the utmost confidence in saying that this one is about to be a potential hit. Featuring an intoxicating, playful melody mixed with triumphant lyricism, all of which is topped off by what looks like some dope visuals, you’re about to here Lonny X’s name everywhere. We may have hesitated to cover his music until now just because he’s not from Boston, but at this point, it’s downright disrespectful not to cover the incredible wave that he’s running.
