Calling it the “introvert anthem” on Twitter, “Fences” explores the need for just a few real friends rather than having many “friends”, most of which aren’t as real as they could be.
With a switch up in the beat going from hip-hop to a poppier, dance style, “Fences” has an appeal for everyone. Relatable as ever, along with such easily enjoyable vocals pushing the vibe, I won’t be surprised as we watch this song soar in play count.
