Suzzii is here with a new, self-produced track titled “Blood Orange,” talking all about the way relationships fall apart and the reasons why. In terms of the delivery, it’s an interesting song, with smoother, neat verses being echoed with gritty adlibs that add emphasis on each punchline and the words that mean the most with the plot of the song. He’s a talented producer, too, easily making this catchy beat to fit his style and using the happier melody to contrast the lyrics. I’m excited for more from the young artist, as his production always goes hand-in-hand with his lyrics in one way or another. He structures his songs well and uses abstract ideas to commentate situations in his life in a way that consistently impresses. You can hear the song below.
